H2O Racing will kick-start what promises to be a long and
exciting year ahead launching the 2014 season with three of its
Championships over 10 days of non-stop activity at the Qatar
Water Festival in Doha in March.
The action starts with the Aquabike riders in Runabout GP1, Ski
GP1 and Freestyle, and is followed by the Nations Cup World
Series embarking on its fourth season, with the ïagship of
international single-seater powerboat racing, the F1H2O World
Championship, bringing proceedings to a fast, furious and
fitting climax.

were awarded to 75 individual
racers with over 100 International
events hosted by almost 60
UIM National Authorities. These
figures show how the sport
of powerboating is global and

AMERICA’S MACCLUGAGE TAKES ON EUROPE
One of the World’s most celebrated Aquabike
riders will single-handedly take on 16 riders
from Europe in a bid to take the Aquabike
Class-Pro Ski GP1 World title back across the
pond to the USA.
America’s multiple, World and National
Champion, Chris MacClugage from Lake
Havasu, Arizona joins the UIM-ABP Aquabike
Class-Pro :orld Championship for the first
time and is confident he can win the title. §I
believe joining the tour is going to be a great
experience for me. The ABP tour is the most
organised and professional tour that I have
seen and not experienced. It is in my opinion
from what I have seen, the Moto GP of Jet
Ski ¨ he said. §I have competed against many
of the riders that are on the tour. One of my
friends and a great rider is Alberto Monti. We
have had great battles over our many years of
racing. So, I hope to continue this with him.
§I have beaten all the riders on the tour at one
time or another, so I believe I can have a great
chance at winning the Championship.”
