Team Nautica’s Marit Stromoy is confident
that they can hit the ground running after
two vital pre-season test sessions in Abu
Dhabi as she aims to build on her best
overall finish in the drivers’ championship, in
eighth last season.
The Team also reveals a new line-up with
Sweden’s F2 star Erik Stark joining them.

new boats and upgraded power for the
Mercury V-6 engines on the back of his
Italian built BABA hulls that have done
him well earning him the 2007 and
2010 world titles along with 12 career
victories. §:e came so close to taking it
all last December,¨ said Sami. §Now, with
this disappointment behind us, we are
going to build on it as a team to use this
for motivation to get back up and again
reach the top of the mountain when it’s
all over.
After a simply sensational 2013 season
the UIM-ABP Aquabike Class-ProWorld
Championship is set for a repeat performance
with a star-studded line up for 2014 and an
initial entry of 45 riders from 16 countries that
reads’ like a who’s who of the best-of-the-best
inWorld competition, with Champions past
and present across the categories.
In the Blue Riband Runabout GP1, Kuwait’s

Abdulrazzaq will face intense competition
from a quartet of French stars including
last year’s runner-up and 12-times World
Champion Cyrille Lemoine, 2012World
Champion Francois Medori, 2009World
Champion and 2011 Karujet winner Teddy
Pons and the 2013 UIM-ABPWorld Ranking
points leader Jeremy Perez.
In Ski the target for the likes of Sousa, Monti,
Armillas and MacClugae will be to try to rip the
title from the grip of the Poret family who have
held it since 2010 and is currently in the hands
of Mickael.
