president,

Nicolo di San Germano and BUND

Holding Group chairman, Mr Chongjie Xin.

“Investing in high quality carbon reduction

projects and making events carbon neutral

is our commitment to ensure that we

respect and achieve our corporate social

responsibilities.”

BUND Holding Group’s carbon neutral

strategy is very much in line with the strong

direction on environmental responsibilities

taken and implemented by Dr. Raffaele

Chiulli, President of the sport’s world

governing body, the Union Internationale

Motonautique (UIM) and its close working

relationship with the United Nations

Environmental Programme (UNEP). “The

Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM)

governs

all

Powerboating

disciplines

and acknowledges that every activity

conducted on water can make a difference

in the fight against climate change.

We are fully committed to promoting

environmentally friendly practices which

we hope will help to contribute towards

solving some of the environmental

challenges of today, particularly those

involving the unsustainable use of energy

resources. We do encourage more of these

efforts favouring the protection of the

environment which result in a reduction of

the environmental footprint in all types of

motorboating activities.”
