The top ten remained in order to the chequered flag with Carella

controlling the pace and running out the winner, completing the

45 laps to take victory by 5.03s from Selio and Torrente.

PeterMorinwas unlucky finishing outside the points in11th, with

RashedAl Qemzi producing his best result in just his second start.

It was a tough weekend for the Maverick F1 Racing trio, Amaury

Jousseaume the first home in 13th ahead of Cedric Deguisne

who pitted in the race to change propellers, with newcomer

Beranger Robart not having the debut he was hoping for, having

issues all day long and retiring after just three laps.

It was not the return to Evian that Filip Roms had hoped for,

his hopes of a third podium there thwarted by fuel issues and

retirement on lap 37. Mike Szymura’s race ended with a bust

engine on lap 25, with a very disappointed Bartek Marszalek

calling it a day on lap 19 with trim issues.

With the two highly entertaining European rounds done and

dusted the UIM F1H2O tour now heads to the Far East to the

People’s Republic of China for theGrand Prix of Harbin in August

and the Grand Prix of Liuzhou in October.

The save of the day was by Victory Team’s

Shaun Torrente tipping his Moore over in

qualifying then driving it from 15th to the

third step of the podium.
