Either side of the performances by the Freestylers during the night
show four riders in Runabout and Ski battled it out for the slalom
title; in Runabout Jeremy Perez beat Marcus Jorgensen and Yousef
Al Abdulrazzaq, Mickael Poret getting passed Stian Schjetlein
and then beating his brother Morgan in the final. Emma-Nellie
Ortendahl took out Mollie Fearn in the semi-final winning both runs
in the final to beat Jasmiin Ypraus.
The sensational story from the weekend was all about 16-year-old
Swedish rider Samuel Johansson, taking two wins and a second
place to win the UIM-ABP Runabout GP2 World Championship,
Germany’s Philip Salobir winning in GP4. In Ski GP2 Benjamin
Scharff went three for three to claim the world title for France, with
Hungary’s Barnabas Szabo crowned champion in GP3.
