In GP2 there was a points’ upheaval following the disqualification
of Portugal’s Rui Sousa for a non-conforming Ski, with fellow
countryman Henrique Rosa Gomes bumped up and credited
with three wins and the title. France’s Benjamin Scharff sealed
second overall with two seconds and a third, fellow Frenchman
Simon Raoulx completing the championship podium.
Hungary’s Barnabas Szabo grabbed his first win of the weekend
to overhaul moto 1&2 winner Goncalo Rodrigues to snatch the
GP3 title by 2 points, with Marten Manni taking third overall.
Estonian riders dominated in Ski Juniors winning World and
European titles; in GP3.2 Anders-Hubert Lauri added a second
win of the weekend in the final moto, with Mattias Reinaas
winning all his motos in GP3.3, Latvia’s Janis Uzars also winning
three out of three to claim the European title in Veterans.
In Freestyle it was a two-way aerial duel between Italy’s Roberto
Mariani and Portugal’s Paolo Nunes, the Italian coming out on
top with a maximum points score.
