ALEX
CARELLA
TAMES
LAC LEMAN
Once again it was Italy’s Alex Carella who
‘tamed the beast’ and ruled on Lac Leman,
powering to a second consecutive pole and
race win-double in his DAC for Team Abu
Dhabi at the UIM F1H2O Grand Prix of
France in Evian in July. It was Carella at his
finest, flawless, the Carella of old who put
it very simply and said post-race ‘I am back’.
The Italian survived a yellow flag and
restart and was followed home by Mad
Croc BABA Racing’s Sami Selio and Victory
Team’s Shaun Torrente.
